Should the application be shown in the taskbar ?

To me, an application handling RTM tasks is something I'll have running all day long, so I don't want it to clutter my taskbar. What about setting ShowInTaskbar to False ? :-)

Add a "pin to desktop" feature

In this mode, there's no title bar, and the window is always visible.

Refresh button.

Would be nice to have a refresh button so that you can force the application to retrieve updated tasks, notes, etc.. Also a way to pin it to the desktop would be awesome. Something that just keeps ...
